Theory
Although we are mainly an experimental group, we also do theory! Either to propose new experiments or to use theory to explain experimental results.
In the past, we conducted theoretical studies on parametric processes and quantum Langevin noise:
"Protecting backaction-evading measurements from parametric instability," Elizabeth P. Ruddy, Yue Jiang, Nicolas E. Frattini, Kyle O. Quinlan, and Konrad W. Lehnert, Phys. Rev. A 110, 023731 (2024).
"Quantum Langevin theory for two coupled phase-conjugated electromagnetic waves," Yue Jiang, Yefeng Mei, and Shengwang Du, Phys. Rev. A 107, 053703 (2023)
"Cavity entanglement and state swapping to accelerate the search for axion dark matter", Kelly Wurtz, Benjamin M. Brubaker, Yue Jiang, Elizabeth P. Ruddy, Daniel A. Palken, and Konrad W. Lehnert, PRX Quantum 2, 040350 (2021).
