Course Description

WORLD HISTORY - 5 Credit

This course is designed to introduce the students to the various cultures of the world while emphasizing skill development to enable the students to continue successfully in social studies.

UNITED STATES HISTORY II – 5 credits

Grade 11

Prerequisite: Successful completion of US History I or teacher recommendation

This course is organized to familiarize the student with United States history from 1930 to the present. The units are: the Depression, World War II, Holocaust studies, Communism, the Cold War, Minority Studies, and the Domestic and Foreign Policies of the 1960s, 70s, through 80s, and current world problems.
