My name is Meagan Best, and I will be starting my tenth year teaching. My first five years of teaching were in Louisiana, and this is my fifth year at Wilson. I will be teaching Math 7 and Honors Math 7 while also serving as the 7th Grade Team Leader.

 I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2010. After graduating, I owned a business for a few years, but realized my heart was not in it so I decided to go into teaching (which I quickly discovered I loved). I graduated in May of 2023 with my Master’s Degree in Math Curriculum and Instruction from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. 

In my free time I love doing escape rooms, traveling, following my favorite sports teams (LSU Tigers, Rangers, New Orleans Saints), and spending time with my friends and family.

I am looking forward to another great year at Wilson!

My name is Janelle Fry, and I will be starting my 15th year teaching. This will be my third year at Wilson! I will be teaching Math 7 and Honors Math 7. 

I grew up in the Houston area. I received my bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin and I received my Master’s degree from Fordham University. 

I live in Plano with my husband Brett, daughter Amelia, and sweet puppy dog Birdie! I am looking forward to an amazing year at Wilson!

Hi!!  My name is Mrs. Drueckhammer and this is my 3rd year teaching math at Wilson Middle School.  I am so excited to be back, and I can’t wait to get the year started.

I  grew up in Garland, TX and graduated from UNT with a degree in Economics.  My family has lived in Plano for the past 11 years.  I have 5 kids, one at the University of Arkansas, one at Plano Senior High, one at Wilson and two at Shepard Elementary.  My husband also teaches at Otto Middle School.  For fun I love to run and read books that help me learn something new.

Hello Wilson Community! My name is Shazli Begum. I am so excited to join the Wilson Middle School family as 7th grade Math resource teacher. This is my 6th year as an educator and 3rd year at Wilson.

I received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from India. I live in Frisco with my husband and three kids. My interests include traveling, cooking and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to another great  year at Wilson!

Hello Wilson community! My name is Rocio Espinoza. This is my 3rd year here at Wilson as an ESL assistant supporting 6th, 7th & 8th grade students in math. I was born in El Paso, Texas but I have lived in Plano since I was 12 years old. I am happily married to my husband Jesus and we have a furbaby named Coco. I love spending time with my family and traveling, especially to Mexico. I'm looking forward to another amazing year here at Wilson.
