Hello! My name is Todd McConaughy and I’m beginning my 11th year at Wilson and 23rd year as an educator. I am excited to be the AVID coordinator/teacher for Wilson. This is my 9th year leading AVID.
I grew up in Plano ISD and have spent 19 years of my career here. I live in Frisco with my wife, who is a counselor at Clark High School, and our three kids. My interests include sports, fitness, building Legos, reading, and everything Star Wars related. Looking forward to another great year!

I am a native Texan and also graduated from Texas colleges. In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy travel and music. Education is my passion, so I am ready to start the school year and teach!
Hey Rams! My name is Alexandria Foster and I’m entering my 7th year teaching, 5th year at Wilson Middle School! I currently teach Physical Education as well as coach 8th grade girls basketball and track & field.
I am a native of Dallas, Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and my Master’s degree from Texas A&M University- Commerce.

This is my 7th year teaching in total. (4yrs.@ Wilson Middle School.) I attended SFASU “Stephen F. Austin University and graduated with a Major in Digital Media/CGI Animation, and a Minor in Kinesiology.
Before I was an educator, I was a freelance videographer an has done over 300+ video around the metroplex ranging from music videos, weddings, different events “Parties | Clubs| Live Shows” | Camp vlogs, stage plans, how-to/tutorials, Via’ EFX’s, auditions tapes, green screen video, short films, Instrumental video’s, online commercials, church revivals, mini docs etc.
I was born in Palo Alto, CA, and moved to South Oak Cliff, TX at a young age. I have a wife “Sarah”, a son “Donatello’ and a daughter “Esperanza”. I enjoy making a positive impact in our kids lifes, and catering to their learning needs.
Hello all! My name is Kathleen Dobrott and I am beyond excited to be working with your student as their theatre teacher this year. I graduated from Texas State University with my degree in Theatre with Teacher certification as well as a minor in Business Administration. I have been involved in UIL One Act play since 2013 and since have had opportunities beyond the stage to immerse me self in this wonderful UIL activity for students. Last year not only did I judge a round of Middle School One Act Play students but also had the joy of directing High School Students at the 4A level. I am excited to meet your student and introduce them to theatre and also pass on life skills that I believe theatre teaches.
Mr. Duck is in his second year as the Director of Bands at Wilson Middle School, and his sixteenth year of teaching overall. Prior to Wilson, Mr. Duck spent five years in Kobe, Japan, where he taught band and elementary music classes at Marist Brothers International School. He and his wife Ali, loved life abroad as it brought about many life defining experiences like learning a new language, traveling to many new and different countries, and most importantly the birth of their daughter, Julia. Before moving to Japan, Mr. Duck taught 9 years in middle school and high school bands in Texas. He spent five years teaching in Plano ISD at Robinson Middle School. While at Robinson, he led the Symphonic and Concert Band, the Jazz Band, and taught the beginning brass classes. He also co-directed the Robinson Philharmonic Orchestra, which was named the Middle School Honor Full Orchestra of Texas two different times. Mr. Duck holds a Masters and Bachelor of Music Education both from Texas Tech University. Outside of school, Mr. Duck enjoys making memories with his beautiful family as well as playing in, arranging for, and conducting trombone ensembles in the DFW area. His family just welcomed the birth of their son, Jamie in July of 2023.

My name is Leah Crouse. This year I’ll be teaching PE, Pre-athletics, & Health here at Wilson. I also have the privilege of coaching 7th grade volleyball, 8th grade basketball, & Girls’ soccer. I run our FCA at Wilson, and we have over 100 kids that show up to each meeting!
In my spare time I love to travel to new places, try local coffee spots, and be outside in the sunshine. I have a golden retriever named Almond (after Jeremiah 1:12), and I love a good lake day!
Mrs. Buniva is in her first year as the Associate Director of Bands at Wilson Middle School, and her first year of teaching overall. She lives in McKinney with her husband, Matthew, and their fur babies, Casper and Arya. Mrs. Buniva is a recent Summa Cum Laude Music Education graduate from Texas Tech University. During her time at Texas Tech, Mrs. Buniva had the opportunity to perform with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and TTU Flute Choir. She was one of the conductors in the Undergraduate Conducting Project at Texas Tech, taught private lessons in Lubbock ISD, and served as a Uniform Manager and Section Leader with the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, journaling, going to the movies, and cheering on the Red Raiders. As a Plano Wildcat graduate, Mrs. Buniva is ecstatic about beginning her career back home in Plano with the Wilson Ram Band.

I am a graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana and I attended TWU to receive my certification in education. My favorite football teams are the New Orleans Saints, the LSU Tigers, and the Wilson Rams. I love gaming, music, latin dancing, reading, and world cultures. However, my greatest joys in life are found in meditation, spending time with my family, and making learning jubilantly interesting for my students. I am looking forward to working with you all this coming school year. Go Rams!

This is my fourth year teaching in PISD. I am passionate about art and happy for the opportunity to teach it here at Wilson. I enjoy creating all things art, especially photography. This is Mr. Frerck's first year teaching at Wilson Middle School. Prior to joining Wilson, he taught for 2 years at Frankford Middle School. Mr. Frerck is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he studied Double Bass Performance and Jazz Studies.
Prior to college, Mr. Frerck graduated from Plano Senior High School and attended Vines HS. As a highschool student, Mr. Frerck was a TMEA All-State Musician placing first in the All-State Jazz Band for Jazz Bass two years in a row.
Outside of teaching, Mr. Frerck enjoys performing with his jazz trio, playing retro video games, and reading a variety of books.
