Hi RAMS! I’m excited to come back to Wilson for my sixth year teaching! I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I taught US History for four years before moving to Texas in 2018 with my husband. He is a native of the Dallas area, and I’d like to think of myself as an “honorary Texan.”
I graduated from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA where I studied history, political science, and communication studies. I also have a Masters in Secondary Education from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. My mom taught middle schoolers for 34 years, and I’d like to think she passed that gene to me.
In my free time, I love cross stitching, cooking, going on walks, and watching Netflix documentaries.
