I was born and raised on a small farm in MissourI. I graduated from The University of Missouri with a degree in Journalism.

This is my 14th year teaching 6th Grade Language Arts. I love teaching 6th grade because it is such a big change for students as they move into middle school. This year will be challenging and exciting!

I have been in Texas for over 25 years. I currently live in Murphy with my wife. We have one daughter. She is a sophomore at Baylor University. My hobbies include reading comics, biking, hiking, and spending time with family.
