Mrs. Smith's Review:
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book the second time around! Bardugo's world-building is excellent. I love the richness of the colors, clothes, the snow. The Darkling makes for an interesting villain that piques your interest. It had tons of suspense, action and romantic tension. No wonder it is so popular! It ended very abruptly - like right in the middle of the action. I guess Bardugo is leaving the reader primed for Book 2!
