Tech Slam!

A “tech slam” is a fun and fast demo of ideas, apps, websites, etc. that can be helpful to you and/or your students in the classroom. Be ready to jump up and share a favorite tool/idea or just learn from others. You have a two-minute limit! Click here for collaborative notes.

Procedure for Scenario Activity

1. Decide with your partner(s) which scenario you will discuss.

2. At the halfway point, you can choose to continue your discussion or switch to another question.

3. Use the sticky notes to record key ideas.

4. Put your sticky notes on the corresponding poster.

5. Listen for the signal to wrap up your discussion and to the directions for switching partners.

6. You will have two 7-minute rounds.

QUESTIONS:

How might you move from Digital Aversion/Anxiety toward Digital Advocacy in each scenario?

How is each scenario a technology issue? How is it a classroom management issue? How is it a relationship issue?
