Hello students and family!

Good morning,

I hope this email finds you well as we are quickly wrapping up the school year!

• In Letterland, we are focusing on -er and -est endings.

• In Reading, we are beginning a Poetry unit with emphasis on rhythm and meaning.

• In Math, we are doing an End of Year (EOY) Review of content from the whole school year. We began this review on 5/9 and will test on 5/19.

• In Domain, we are learning about the Human Body, with our Assessment on May 23.

• In Writing, our focus will be Cursive Writing, with emphasis on letter formation and practice.

I have a hard time believing that summer break is almost here, and that the 2nd grade journey is nearly over. I am so proud of my students and the hard work they have given since I started with them in October. Please remember to finish strong with your student by encouraging good behavior and continuing the hard-work in the classroom. Let me know if you have questions!
