Hello 1st grade parents!!
Just a Reminder
Parents, please do not get out of the car during afternoon pick up to buckle up your child. If you need to buckle your child, please pull over in the grass.
We will try to go outside every day for recess. The only reason we do not go to the playground is if there has been rain recently. Please make sure that your child has appropriate clothing for outdoor play and that all items are marked with your child’s name. A lot of our winter jackets, gloves and hats look alike so this is the best way to try to keep them from being lost.
· Polo shirts should be under sweatshirts (sweatshirts and polos are mandatory embroidery).
· Students are required to wear a belt at all times (only black or plaid).
· Shirts should be tucked (except white, Peter Pan blouses for girls; white button up for boys should be tucked in).
· Socks should be solid white, black, or red (no visible logos).
· No patterns on shoes.

Afternoon Dismissal
Car riders will be dismissed from the classroom starting a 2:55pm. Please be patient with us and your child as we teach then this new routine. We promise to do our best to minimize any inconvenience!
**If you need to buckle your child or strap them into a car seat, please pull to the grass to complete. Thank you!
It is important to send a written not and/or call the school office before 11:45am if there is a change in the way that your child will be going home. We want to be sure that we send them safely to the correct place.
Important Information
MORNING SNACK: In order to help students avoid confusing lunch and snack items, please place a morning snack in the small front zipper pocket of your child's backpack (instead of in his/her lunchbox with lunch items). Please show your child where to find his/her morning snack.
Please NO liquid in water bottles other than water! Any dye colored liquid will stain the floor and carpet.
Hoodies and hooded jackets are not allowed to be worn in the building.
Jackets need to be Solid black or red
NO boots
Car tags should be visible in the car rider line
Please send water only for snack in a spill-proof bottle.
