Internships

At Pinnacle Classical Academy, our goal is to educate students in a way that allows them to thrive both in school and in the workforce. The Internship program at Pinnacle Classical Academy allows students an opportunity to get a taste of different job opportunities, learn what is needed to excel in various environments and to help guide students to opportunities that will help them determine which career they may be best suited for in the future. 

What does an Internship Entail?

During their internship, students will partner with a local business in their chosen field and learn at this site for a semester. This internship is a class, students will be expected to attend their designated internship time and the class time as provided in the first weeks of instruction. In addition to their internship hours, students will complete a resume, potential interview, assignments, and a culminating portfolio.

Responsibilities of the Student:

• Students are expected to be responsible young adults, able to respectfully communicate with their workplace and instructor, and all they come in contact with

• Students are to communicate clearly to both their instructor and workplace when they will be absent or tardy

• Students must complete all assigned materials from the instructor

• Students must have reliable transportation to and from their workplace

• Students are to be honest and have integrity on the job site and on their assignments
