Welcome

Hi! My name is Ms. Gensch and I have been teaching at Pinnacle for almost seven years. I have been working in the field of Exceptional Children for over 30 years and received my B.A. in Special Education from High Point University and my M.Ed. in Special Education from UNC-Charlotte.

I live in Belmont with my toy poodle named Beej, who is a wonderful little companion! My daughter Abbey and her husband recently moved to Belmont from Arlington VA and we are having a great time together! My son Sadler resides in Washington, DC and it is always a joy when he comes home to visit or I visit him. I enjoy spending time with my children, my mom and sister, who live in Raleigh, my nieces, and numerous friends. Some of my other favorite things to do are walking, completing jig saw puzzles, listening to music, and reading. I am learning to play golf (a slow process) and also enjoy yoga. I am always willing to try a new adventure!

I love my job here at Pinnacle because of the awesome students, amazing co-workers, supportive parents, and wonderful administration!
