SSM will be meeting in the high school meeting room at 7:00 am. This is open to all 4-12 students. Students attending should be dropped off at the high school office entrance no earlier than 7:00 am.
It's College T-Shirt Day! Students may wear a college t-shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms. Please remember:
Jeans may not have holes or tears (patches or leggings underneath do not change this)
Uniform shoes are required
Hooded sweatshirts, zippered sweatshirts with hoods and Leggings are not permitted at any time.
A representative from UNC Charlotte will be presenting to all Juniors during lunch in the High School Meeting.
Wednesday, April 1 - Senior Cap and Gown Pictures
All eligible graduating seniors of Pinnacle Classical Academy must wear the appropriate dress under their gowns to participate in the formal graduation ceremony and the Senior Cap and Gown photo.
Appropriate dress will include the following:
Student Dress Attire:
Required: Graduates dress in cap and gown over dress attire. Prior to graduation, students wear their tassel on the right side of their mortarboard (cap).
Ladies: Dress attire including: a dress, skirt and blouse ensemble, pantsuit, or jumpsuit. Dress shoes, dress sandals, wedges, heels and flats are acceptable. Any dress or attire that is longer than graduation gowns must be school colors.
Gentlemen: Dress attire including: a white button down dress shirt with a fold over collar and tie (school colors) with black dress pants. Black dress shoes.
Unacceptable attire includes: denim outfits, excessively short dresses, bare midriff outfits, bathing suits, shorts, rubber sandals, flip flops, hiking or military boots, or athletic shoes.

Suggested Courses for Students Pursuing an Associates Degree
CTE (Career and Technical Education Courses) for 2026-27:
Students must select a CTE pathway and may take courses that are being offered in that pathway. Students will work with Career Coach, Mrs. Wyatt, from CCC to select pathways/courses. CCC Career and Technical Education Pathways
Students must meet with Mrs. Wyatt to register for CCC courses and to determine how many credit hours are needed to complete the degree. This will vary depending on various factors.

Fall sports season is just around the corner! Please complete this form for each sport your child is interested in trying out for, and be sure to read every question carefully while providing all requested information.
Please note that tryouts for Fall 2026 sports will take place prior to the conclusion of the current school year. Additional details and exact tryout dates will be shared soon.
Although Cheer is officially a winter sport, it has been included on this form because its tryouts occur earlier than other winter sports. Cheer tryouts will take place on or after August 1.

Summer Programs
FREE Health Sciences Summer Program at GWU
What: The College of Health Sciences at Gardner-Webb University is pleased to announce the Health Sciences Summer Bridge Camp, designed for students interested in pursuing a health sciences career after high school.
Eligibility: Rising 11th and 12th grade students in Cleveland, Gaston, Rutherford, and Lincoln counties. Participants who attended the program last year are not eligible to attend again.
Dates: The camp will be offered during two sessions: June 22-25, 2026, and July 6-9, 2026. Attendees may indicate a preferred week, but placement is not guaranteed. Only one session may be attended. Only 20 spots are available each week.
Location: Gardner-Webb University - College of Health Sciences, 315 West College Avenue, Shelby, NC

Cost: $0. This camp is sponsored with funding provided by the Golden Leaf Foundation. On-campus housing, meals, one set of scrubs, and swag items will be provided.
What to Expect: Students will spend 4 days, 3 nights on campus, staying in assigned dormitories. Chaperones will be present in the dorms to provide supervision and assist students with campus navigation. Students are required to bring their own linens, toiletries, personal hygiene items, etc.
How to Apply: Submit a completed application along with the required recommendation letters by March 15, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of acceptance into the camp by April 15, 2026. Additional details will be provided upon acceptance into the camp.

Summer Electrical Academy Through CCC ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SESSIONS ADDED
Cleveland Community College is excited to offer a Summer Electrical Academy from June 8 through July 29, 2026.
