Program Documents

Documents required for a new program proposal include but not limited to:

• HLC New Certificate Screening Form 

• HLC New Degree Screening Form

• Program Assessment Plan

• Governing Board Report Survey

• Provide a brief description of the proposed degree and how it will serve the community of Pima County. (200 word maximum).

• Value Proposition to include Identifying learners and how this pertains to AAC&U Competencies (250 word limit) 

• Attach labor market analysis (SOC codes, job titles, annual openings, number of job openings, projected 5 year growth, job opportunities, entry-level wages, median wages, etc.)

• Describe how this program will align with economic development in Pima County and Identify key partners

• Does another school have something similar? If yes, please include name of degree, description, cost, etc.

• Business Plan - (Intranet/MyPima) Finance & Admin >Financial Services> Budget Requests > New Program Business Form Template (FY shown is irrelevant)

• Modality/Location this program is being proposed to be taught at

• Semester Sequencing for courses. Indicate workplace learning and capstone, if applicable

Additional documentation that may be needed but not limited to:

• Attach meeting minutes, that outlines that this new program was discussed with Student Affairs

• Third party accreditation, if applicable

• Attach the Facilities Information Technology (FIT) form if needed.
