New Program
Required Documents ***All documents are due into the curriculog system and to the stakeholders review step by March 1st and September 1st of each year for stakeholder feedback. If one deadline isn't met, items will be moved to the next available deadline. (Keep in mind that even if the dates above fall on the weekend, the curriculog system is open year round to include on the weekends. If a weekend due date poses a problem, please plan accordingly).
Documents required for a new program proposal include but not limited to:
Provide a brief description of the proposed degree and how it will serve the community of Pima County. (200 word maximum).
Value Proposition to include Identifying learners and how this pertains to AAC&U Competencies (250 word limit)
Attach labor market analysis (SOC codes, job titles, annual openings, number of job openings, projected 5 year growth, job opportunities, entry-level wages, median wages, etc.)
Describe how this program will align with economic development in Pima County and Identify key partners
Does another school have something similar? If yes, please include name of degree, description, cost, etc.
Business Plan - (Intranet/MyPima) Finance & Admin >Financial Services> Budget Requests > New Program Business Form Template (FY shown is irrelevant)
Modality/Location this program is being proposed to be taught at
Semester Sequencing for courses. Indicate workplace learning and capstone, if applicable
Additional documentation that may be needed but not limited to:
Attach meeting minutes, that outlines that this new program was discussed with Student Affairs
Third party accreditation, if applicable
Attach the Facilities Information Technology (FIT) form if needed.
