Due to school closure in response to the health emergency created by the COVID-19, Pilot Point ISD has planned methods to deliver remote instruction to students. The information below outlines how Pilot Point teachers will deliver lessons and content to students during an extended closure. The planning and construction of this delivery is an ongoing, evolving process. We will update you as quickly as possible as changes occur.

Pilot Point teachers are planning lessons to be delivered beginning the week of March 23rd. Our teachers are collaborating remotely to plan delivery. Teachers will be linking digital lesson plans on a parent site for easy access. If your child is unable to complete their lessons digitally, please contact your child’s teacher. We are working with all families to ensure that all students are able to continue learning at home. The planning for online instruction is in an attempt to keep PPISD students on pace for promotion and/or graduation without extending the school year.

All lessons will be accessible via Pilot Point’s website beginning March 23rd. Students will have a full week to complete all lessons. Elementary students will be turning in assignments via SeeSaw. Teachers will be sending out communication on how to make sure your child has everything they need to get set up. Intermediate and Middle School will be delivering lessons through Google Classroom, and High School students will access lessons via Canvas. Weekly lesson plans will be available each Monday.
Again, if your child cannot complete the assignments digitally, please contact your child’s teacher. For families that are unable to receive internet access at home, packets will be mailed to students home and/or be made available for pickup.
Digital Resources: All resources can be found on the Classlink Portal: my.classlink.com/pilot point. Students should log in with their @k12.pilotpointisd.com email address. Their password is pp+ID number. If your child does not know their email address, please contact your child’s teacher.

You may contact your child’s teacher via email if you have questions about assignments. Teachers will be checking their email multiple times a day and will answer questions as soon as possible; however, we appreciate your patience as the volume of emails to teachers will increase.

For families that are unable to receive internet at home, your child's teacher will make arrangements to get packets mailed to your home, or make packets available for pickup.

This is a fluid situation that will constantly be assessed and communicated to our families and communities. As of now, we will be returning to school April 6th.

Breakfasts and Lunches are being passed out at the Intermediate Campus as well as the Pioneer Valley Baptist church. Beginning Tuesday, March 24th breakfast and lunch will be distributed at the same time. The new meal service times are from Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 11:30am.
