1. Right click the printer driver and click run as administrator
2. Enter password admin (Call IT Service Desk to remote and enter password)
Note: Only the IT are allowed to input the admin password as per IT policy for security purposes.
3. For shared printer, locate the ip address by pressing on the keyboard windows+R and type in the ip address then hit enter. For example, \\192.168.208.40
4. Select the printer name, right click and click connect
5. View the printer on the settings by pressing on the keyboard windows+R and type control then hit enter.
6. Under the Hardware and Sound, click View devices and printers and check the printer if this has been added.
7. Print test on the printer if its working by selecting the newly installed printer and right click then printer properties then print test page
8. If you wish to set it as default printer, select the printer and right click then click Set as default printer.
