No battery icon in the taskbar

1. Select Start > Settings > Personalization > Taskbar, and then scroll down to the notification area. Choose Select which icons appear on the taskbar, and switch thePower toggle to On.

You can check battery status by selecting the battery icon in the taskbar at the bottom right of your screen.

Note: If the steps on this page do not resolve the issue, it is possible there is a group policy setting on the laptop preventing the battery power icon from being displayed. You may create a ticket to IT Service Desk.
