Below are the steps to add a wifi printer via IP address.
Note: Before you proceed, you must know the resource printers IP address. You may locate it by tracing the user that is connected directly to the printer by running the get mac command.
Other printers may have independent ip address configured by the IT in the first time installation. You may ask your colleague or the IT.
2. On the Control panel, click on the Hardware and Sound > View devices and printers
3. Click on the Add a printer button > The printer that I want isn't listed > select Add a priner using a TCP/IP address or hostname.
4. Type the hostname or the IP address of the printer. Select “Next“.
Windows will now walk you through installing the drivers for the printer. After that is complete, you should be able to print to the printer via direct IP address.
