Learning Commons: Your Hub for Academic Support

Free Tutoring Services:

• In-Person Tutoring: Available Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, at the Learning Commons (Lower Level, Fannin Library).

• Online Tutoring: Access live, online homework help during the same hours through the PC Learning Commons Canvas course.

Specialized Services:

• Writing Center: Receive assistance at any stage of the writing process, including essays, personal statements, and scholarship applications.

• Online Writing Lab: Submit your paper for feedback with a 24-hour turnaround on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.

• ESL Conversation Circles: Practice English speaking and listening skills.

  • In-Person: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 PM–3:00 PM.

  • Online: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00 PM–2:30 PM.

• HESI-A2 Review Materials: Access study materials to prepare for the HESI-A2 exam, essential for pre-nursing students.

Research Coach: Personalized Research Assistance

Schedule an Appointment:

• In-Person and Virtual Sessions: Meet with a librarian to receive individualized help with research projects and papers.

• Flexible Communication: Choose between video conferencing, audio calls, or online chat based on your preference.
