Week 12: The Secret to Success—Self-Care and Campus Support
Title: Boost Your Learning with Healthy Habits and Campus Resources
Success in college isn’t just about academics—it’s about balancing your mind, body, and resources to achieve your goals. This week, we’ll dive into how sleep, water, eating, exercise, and time management can improve learning and highlight the many campus resources that are here to support you.
Sleep:
A good night’s sleep is critical for memory retention and focus. Aim for 7–9 hours per night to keep your brain sharp.
Water:
Hydration is key! Drinking enough water helps your brain stay alert and improves overall cognitive performance.
Eating:
Your brain thrives on quality fuel. Include a mix of proteins, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables in your meals to boost energy and focus.
Exercise:
Even 20–30 minutes of movement a day can reduce stress, improve your mood, and enhance mental clarity.
Time:
Time management is your superpower! Prioritize tasks, stick to a schedule, and take breaks to avoid burnout.
