Component Update
Efforts to develop IT curriculum resources for upper-division courses have been aligned with Quality Matters (QM) standards. Faculty training across three QM courses, with stipends for completion, ensures the quality of educational offerings. Internal and external QM assessments of existing courses are planned, with stipends ranging from $1000 to $2000 per credit for necessary revisions. A summer plan to update five to eight 300 and 400-level courses is scheduled for summer 2024, alongside residential faculty training on QM standards in April 2024. These efforts aim to maintain high educational standards and enhance the quality of the IT curriculum.
May 2024
Underway six faculty and staff completed the DYOC Quality Matters training. Anticipated that 5-7 courses would undergo revision and development to meet QM standards during the no-contract period in the summer of 2024.
QM Resources
Shortly, we will provide access to the Quality Matters resources, including templates and best practices created and used by the grant-connected staff and faculty.
Grammarly Go
As we progress, we will share best practices and protocols to assist faculty when using Grammarly Go and other applications and resources we find practically helpful in the processes connected to the grant.
