SPARC summer camp 2021

Spend a week at Northeast High School engaged in the fun side of science

What is Project sparc?


SPARC stands for SPAce Research Center and was founded in 1962 by a partnership between NASA and the School District of Philadelphia during the height of the Cold War in an effort to get high school students interested in the sciences. In the early days of Project SPARC student astronauts completed simulated space missions in a donated Apollo Capsule over the course of several days.

Today, SPARC is an after school STEAM ( Science Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) club that has several divisions of study that include:

Flight- Become a FAA 107 Drone Pilot and learn rocketry

Medical- Become Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certified

Astronomy- Study our planetary system and beyond

Coding- ardinio ,CSS, HTML, JavaScript

Engineering

Robotics
