Talent Show Review

Furness High School just held a talent show on March 1st, 2024. The talent show was meant for students to display their talent in front of their peers. Some performers sang while others played instruments such as the piano or guitar. We also had a surprise with our beloved English teacher Mr. Wright singing. The judges were a mixture of students and faculty: Mr. Guyon, Ms. Lorch, Abubakar, and Destiny. Dozens of people were also behind the scenes as tech staff and vocal coaches who played an important role in the success of the talent show.

After the performance, the judges had a hard time judging the winners but after a while, they finally agreed and gave the first-place prize of $30 to the “Greatest Band.”

After the talent show, we interviewed some people and their opinions of the event. One audience member said that the show was an amazing marvel for students and teachers to explore their talents. She also had a favorite performance, being “The Greatest Band” and their segment “This is Me.”
