Running to The Club

Running is a popular form of exercise for a reason. It is convenient to do it anywhere or anytime, and it doesn’t require any equipment. Just get yourself ready, and you can run! 

Despite its convenience and simplicity, running also has a lot of health benefits. It can improve your cardio health and sleep quality, strengthen your muscles, and help maintain a healthy weight. Not limited to this, some people also run because they want to feel better as  it is able to improve mental health, self-confidence, and quality of life.

After reading the benefits, I believe you are more encouraged to running activity. However, it is kind of sad to run alone, isn’t it? Well, the good news is that Furness High School has a running club for those who are interested in running with a group. The group is not huge. It has an average of 10 members. With that, we can run together and have a friendly chat, and at the same time, while also getting fit!

We will run from our school to South Street, and then go directly back to our school. If you are interested, come directly to Ms. Chan’s class in Room 309 after school on Wednesday and Thursday. See you there!
