Remembrance

 As I watch my days go past and forward

 I slowly walk down the path of forgetting your face. 

And try to find yours in my own.

And I remember the times when I wish the days went by faster 

So I could see you more after your last visit

But wishing for your visits turned into wishing to feel your presence.

 During those days, a smile could never leave my face if we were together.

But after the news broke to me, all I could do was plea and try to see,

 How could you ever leave me?

 Now all that remains are the parts of you that made me.
