Joel Embiid, Offering No Timetable For Return From Knee Surgery, Eyes Consistent Return to Sixers

Joel Embiid has not given an exact return time for this upcoming season. His return is questionable due to his frequent history of injury and only playing 19 games last season. Embiid underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on April 2, 2025 to address the discomfort he felt which restricted his playing time in the 2024-2025 season.

Such as his bells palsy injury and his knee problems, which restricted him greatly. He had injuries like such his whole playing career, going as far back to his rookie season. According to a Furness staff member they feel like Embiid’s health is his own fault and it is not just his bad luck with injury.
