Jeffrey Epstein- You have probably heard of this infamous name before.

Epstein started his career in finance and soon started managing assets for wealthy clients. But today he is known for something a lot different. Something less pleasant. He is well-known because of the horrific revelation that showcased his atrocities.

In 2005, Police officers in Palm Beach, Florida, launched an investigation of Epstein due to reports of sexual misconduct towards minors. This was the fall of Epstein as evidence and testimonies mounted against him. He soon faced legal consequences in 2008. In that year, Epstein entered a plea deal, where he pleaded guilty to one count of soliciting prostitution from a minor and one count of procuring a minor for prostitution.

Many found his sentencing unbelievable, outrageous even. The sentence of 13 months was unbelievably short for charges like prostitution of minors, let alone all the other crimes he committed. Many also found problems that Epstein would be prevented from more severe consequences due to the plea deal.

Later, in 2018, an article published by the Miami Herald resurfaced with all of  Epstein’s misdeeds. By interviewing women who had been part of the sex ring run by Epstein, the article gained traction. Even more people took interest when it was found out that Epstein evaded federal charges because of a plea deal that was done by a person in Donald Trump's cabinet.

In 2019, after a combination of witness testimonies, interviewing victims, analysis of financial transactions, and raids on Epstein's house by the FBI, they were able to arrest Epstein on July 6th, 2019 after federal prosecutors deemed that new charges were to be added to Epsteins, not in the plea deal previously.

On August 10, 2019, before facing his trial, he was found dead in his cell. Afterward, documents around Epstein were released, including things like those who visited Epstein Island. Individuals including former president Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and others. It is important to mention, however, that just because they were connected to Epstein does not mean that they were involved in what Epstein did.

Conspiracy around Epstein still exists today. Many wonder if Epstein is truly dead or if it was planned for him to appear dead yet has escaped. We may never know the truth about the lives of these incredibly rich and despicable people.
