I know many of our students are looking for a place to relax and escape the stress of school. What if I told you that the perfect spot is right here at Furness High School? Our students, in collaboration with the PENN Library, have worked hard to create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy books in a newly created library. This is a place where you can study with classmates, read, and build connections. If there’s a book you want to read, just ask, and they will do their best to get it for you. This incredible project was made possible through the dedication of our students, along with the support of Ms. Nelson and Dr. Davis. Their efforts aim to strengthen our community, bringing us together through the power of books. Step by step, they have built something truly special, and now it’s up to all of us to contribute and make it our own. So go ahead, explore, and discover all the wonderful things that books have to offer!
