We look forward to practicing and performing together as soon as it is safe to do so. Contact us through Facebook or firstname.lastname@example.org if you need assistance confirming our practice schedule. We are currently practicing outdoors most 2nd and 4th Mondays 6:30-sunset at Bartram's Garden Practice Circle in southwest Philadelphia.
COVID-19 Update: PFB is working to secure a safe indoor practice location with increased air filtration and space, 2022 tentative indoor return.
Our concert band holds two concerts annually, one in spring and the other in winter. We present a vast range of music, from classical pieces to pop tunes, centered on an interesting theme. Past themes include: Roaring Twenties, PFB in SPACE, Elements, and Water is Life.
COVID-19 Update: The Marching Band has had a successful 2021 season from May-October 2021 including an outdoor performance at the Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany, participation in the 2021 Lehigh Valley Pride Festival, and looking forward to a performance October 16th at FDR Park as part of pHonk!
Our marching band performs all year long. We have parades throughout the spring and summer, cheer sections for local races in the fall, and even caroling around the holidays! You can find us at events across the greater Philadelphia region, from Allentown, to Asbury Park, to downtown Philly.
You can join at any time. We're always welcoming new musicians, color guard members, or volunteers to serve as band aides. See our calendar for more details, and check us out at one of our upcoming events!
