Whether it's a weekly meeting or a celebration, in-person or virtual, events allow your groups to connect, and that's what it's all about! As a leader, you can organize, edit, and share events for your group, including managing past event attendance and tracking RSVPs for upcoming events.
⚠️ Members can subscribe to the group calendar to add these events to their calendars!
Go to the Events tab of your group page.
Create a new event with the name, dates/times, frequency, location, and description.
Add your group's events to your personal calendar.
⚠️ Google Calendar refreshes sporadically, between 2 hours to 5 days.
3. View past events to add/review notes or edit/submit attendance.
Go to a specific event to make changes or share it.
⚠️ If you want to share the event with your church administrators so they can add it to the church calendar, ask them to send you an event request form!
Use the menu button on an event to Share, Edit, or Cancel the event.
Use your device's sharing options to send the Church Center link to this event.
When editing a repeating event, update the single event or all future events.
⚠️ When editing an event, you can switch to a different shared location or make your event virtual; however, any new locations must be added from the Groups admin pages.
3. Cancelling is the best option when your group intended to meet but didn't, and you want to leave a note explaining why.
You can edit or cancel an event that already exists from the Options menu.

When your group members respond to events, you can see or edit that response!
Select any upcoming event from the Events tab to view the attendees.
Double-check that you're viewing the correct event date.
Update your RSVP.
