Intensive Course Participants

Denmark 2017

This Network is a started as a collaboration between Universities and University Colleges across Scandinavia. In 2017 we added a new partner from Lithuania and in 2018 Göteborgs Universitet joined our network.

We are funded by Nordplus.

The overall aim of this network is to increase quality in education of teachers and social educators within the field of leisure-time pedagogy. In 2016 this group received funds for teacher and student mobility for the first time. This funding enabled us to organize an intensive course in Denmark. In 2017 we received increased funding for network support and continued mobility for students and teachers, and held another intensive course this time in Iceland in May 2018. In 2019 the theme for our course was "The role of leisure-time centers and after-school programmes in the integration of refugees and immigrants, specifically children and youth". The course was held in Lithuania. In 2020 we started planning a course in Gothenburg focusing on Digital Health –"Digitalization in Leisure centers in Scandinavia and Baltic countries". We were finally able to welcome students to Gothenburg in march 2022.
