My name is Amber Ellert. I have been a part of the Prairie Heights district for a number of years. 2023-2024 is my 8th full year of teaching. I graduated from Angola High School in 2005. I started my college career at IPFW and then transferred to Ball State to complete my degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. After working in the district as the full time sub, I applied for my current position. I love being a part of the PHHS family and am looking forward to many more years to come!

I have 4 of my own little ones at home. My daughter, Nevaeh, is a 7th grader. My middle son, Adam, is a 4th grader, and my youngest son, Dax,  is a 2nd grader. Our newest little, Ayzleigh, turned 4 years old in July and will complete her second year at Wolcott Mills Preschool. My husband, Chris, and I have been married for 14 years but have been together since high school. He teaches K-4 music at Prairie Heights Elementary.

In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our children, watching them do athletics, and directing middle school theatre.
