Whitehall Talented & Gifted

Whitehall Elementary is a TAG in a Regular Classroom (TRC)

TAG identified students are cluster-grouped within a class with teachers that have extensive training in how to meet the instructional, social, and emotional needs of gifted learners. Our TAG Teachers participate in continuous professional development to foster higher-level instructional techniques. The pace and rigor of instruction for our gifted learners is based on students' readiness, interests, and learning profile. An enriched approach to language arts integrating the areas of literature, reading, composition, and independent student, an accelerated and enriched approach to math, science and social studies are followed. Interdisciplinary connections and art integration are also implemented in the TRC classrooms.
