About Your Instrumental Music Teacher at Heather Hills and Whitehall
About me
Ms. Laura Miller has been teaching elementary instrumental music with Prince George's County Public schools for over 35 years. She also teaches at Whitehall Elementary School.
Ms. Miller has performed on flute/piccolo with the Mighty Sound of Maryland, Baltimore Ravens Marching Band, Maryland Community Band, Columbia Flute Choir and the Columbia Concert Band. She performed on trumpet in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a member of the Band Directors Marching Band.
Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Maryland College Park and a Master of Arts and Letters with an emphasis in conducting from Southern Oregon University.
