STAMP Test
The STAMP Test is given to Immersion students to determine their language proficiency. In Spanish Immersion, we currently give the STAMP Se test at the end of 5th grade to help determine our recommended middle school pathway for students. In French Immersion, we currently give the STAMP 4S test to students to determine their French as a World Language placement level. The STAMP test has the following resources for parents:
- Sample tests
- STAMP 4Se Test Taker/Parent Guide
- STAMP 4S Test Taker/Parent Guide
- STAMP Power Up Guide (Understanding and improving proficiency levels)
DELF Test
The DELF Test is a test given by the French government that assesses a student's proficiency in French. In PGCPS, diplomas are awarded to students who achieve the A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels of proficiency. Proficiency levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language. We currently asses students in 2nd grade at the A1 level, 4th grade at the A2 level, 9th grade at the B1 level, and 10-12 grade at the B2 level.
