One last discussion. . .
Assignment for 5.29.20
One thing: Elections!
Assignment for 5.22.2020
One Objective!
We have one objective before school ends on June 8th . . . SGA Virtual Election. Please begin thinking about how we can make it easy for the teachers to "sign" for the students and how we can have an election! Without our seniors, how are you going to take leadership of this project?
Assignment for 5.15.2020
We may have two guests--Ms. Bustamante (and possibly a student, Eswin)--who will join us to talk about the Community Schools Initiative and to get your input. Let's show up on time (and wake your friends up so they can be there on time) so we can begin with our guests. This may take longer than 30 minutes. With the rest of our time, it is time to virtually hug our seniors a "good bye" and discuss the SGA election we need to have before school ends this year.
Assignment for 5.8.2020
We will continue with discussion disseminating the message of Spirit Week and Tutoring. We will also discuss ideas around our Community Engagement initiative at IHSLA. I have a meeting today with the Community School Coordinator, Ms. Bustamante. Here is the question that you need to answer: How can SGA ensure that the Needs Assessment Survey is completed by 80% of the 9-11th graders? See you tomorrow. . . Community Engagement
Assignment for 5.1.2020
We will continue with Spirit Week and Tutoring. I will try Zoom tomorrow, so be ready for me to email you the link at 10:59 a.m. tomorrow.
Assignment for 4.24:
Review Andrea's notes (part 1 and part 2) and Karen's notes (part 1 and part 2) from Friday. Hopefully, we have some schedule or matrix in mind that can meet the needs.
Then, look at the flier that Benjamin Foulois k-8 school created. (I sent it to you on Friday.) Dr. Hanks-Sloan wants to know if SGA can organize something similar. We will discuss your thoughts on our 11:00 a.m. chat. If you want to start creating a flier, feel free.
See you then. . .
Assignment for 4.17:
Think about what the needs of your class (i.e., freshman class, senior class, etc.) are. Be
ready to discuss on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
