My name is Mrs. Harriman, and I am the Vocal General music teacher for all students at Heather Hills Elementary School. I look forward to working with you and your children in the 2022-2023 school year! Each class will have 50 minutes of music per week. In these lessons students will engage in a variety of activities to create, present, respond and/or connect to music. Information about our music class will be updated biweekly in the Announcements tab of this page. Students will also join a grade level specific Quaver Course in order to receive lesson materials and turn in graded assignments.
Below are some guidelines for your child to make sure they are set up for success!
Remember to participate actively and never hesitate to ask questions if you are confused.
Always respect yourself, teachers and classmates.
Keep a positive and flexible attitude. :)
Assessments
The goal of grading and reporting is to provide the students with feedback that reflects their progress towards the mastery of the Maryland Fine Arts Standards. Graded assignments will be posted in the Quaver course then recorded on Schoolmax.
