Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! For the first couple weeks of our school year, each class will review expectations for learning music in our music classroom, explore classroom instruments, participate in an introductory lesson on steady beat, and take a pre-assessment in QuaverMusic. The syllabus for each grade level is available on this site.
I will post updates every 2 weeks on this page, including the topic(s) of focus, "Can do" statements explaining what the students can do as a result of the lesson, upcoming assessments, and projects that students should be working on (when applicable).
Please check Schoolmax on a regular basis to ensure students are up-to-date with all Vocal General Music assignments.
All students will be exploring music in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month: "Ma Teodora" (4th and 5th) "Mi Cuerpo" and "Bate Bate Chocolate" (2nd and 3rd)
