Dear Parents/Guardians of 8th-Grade Students,
As we begin the second half of the school year, we are excited to announce several special events to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our 8th-grade students. These activities include:
Field Day
Class Trip
8th-Grade End-of-Year Formal
These events are designed to create unforgettable memories for our students as they prepare to transition to high school. To ensure a positive and meaningful experience for everyone, we have established a set of criteria that students must meet to participate in these activities.
Participation Criteria
1. Behavior:
Students must demonstrate respectful and responsible behavior.
Any suspensions or repeated behavior incidents may impact eligibility.
2. Attendance:
Regular attendance is essential. Excessive absences or tardiness may affect participation.
3. Academic Performance:
Students are expected to maintain passing grades in all subjects.
4. Repeated Uniform Noncompliance
As a reminder, the required uniform top for eighth grade students is a yellow polo shirt. Students may also wear a yellow sweatshirt or sweater, but hooded sweatshirts are not allowed. If a student wears one, it must be stored in their locker for the day.
Our goal is for every student to participate in these special events, and we will work closely with families to provide the support needed to meet these criteria.
We believe these events are a reward for hard work and a way to celebrate the growth and success of our students. If you have any questions or concerns about the criteria or need additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your support in helping us ensure these events are a positive experience for all. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our 8th-grade students together!
Best Regards,
