FAQ

What is an EdCamp?

"Unlike typical "sit and get" PD, Edcamp's strength is its participant-driven model." The best ones happen when everyone contributes their ideas - either things they know about and want to share or things they have questions about and want to learn. Those ideas is what drive the topics for the session board. View a video to learn more.

What if there's a topic being discussed in which I have no interest?

The "rule of two feet" always applies! This means that you are free to leave to go to another session that may be of more interest to you.

I'd like to visit other EdCamps. How do I find out more about them?

Upcoming Edcamps are published by the EdCamp Foundation. Visit their website to see an EdCamp that may be coming to a location near you. Additionally, you might find out about others via word of mouth or via social media.

I think I'd like to host an EdCamp at my school or for my colleagues. How can I go about doing that?

T3 will assist you with any questions you have about planning for EdCamps. Also, registered EdCamps may be eligible to receive an "EdCamp in a Box" kit to help with your planning. Find out more about their "Ed Camp in a Box" from their website.
