Hopewell Junction, NY | Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley, Trump National Golf Club, Hudson Valley is seeking a thoughtful and experienced General Manager to lead their long-tenured team. The desired candidate has far-reaching experience in hospitality operations as well as all aspects of financial planning. Great communication and leadership skills are essential.
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for supporting the mission and vision of Trump National Hudson Valley (TNHV) and Trump Golf. This executive has operational management authority over the daily operations of the club, as well as establishing short and long-term organizational goals and objectives.
The GM is responsible for carrying out the policies and vision in conjunction with Executive Team at Trump Golf. He/she is responsible for the financial and operational stability of the club and other “external” activities. Duties include direction setting, management of staff and all workforce issues including the focus on maintaining quality facilities, safety, services, and programs throughout all golf and recreational offerings.
The GM directs a staff of 120 season team members in all departments and 12 team members off-season. He/she has all club department heads reporting to him/her, including Head Golf Professional, Golf Course Superintendent, Controller, Director of Food & Beverage, Sales and Marketing Director, Executive Chef, Facilities Manager, Locker Room Manager and Pool Manager.
Focus on the Food and Beverage operation and its consistent delivery and execution of a positive, well-regarded product is a critical success factor. Work closely with the Executive Chef and FOH leadership team to ensure opening and operating plans are in place along with necessary menu plans, staffing, tools and wares for success.

Significant to this expectation is the ability to lead our team of friendly, engaging, competent, and passionate staff who are sincere about serving the Club’s members while acting in the best interest of Trump Golf. Being a natural “mentor” and “educator” to each constituency is a key attribute to success for the new GM.
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university with a hospitality degree preferred; and five years' experience at a private club as a GM or Assistant GM; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A PGA or CCM certification or working toward achieving the certification is preferred.
A visible, high-energy, dynamic leader with a skill set to lead nearly 120 associates and oversee all club operations
Proven history of strong financial performance and acumen
Food & beverage experience in overseeing bar, dining, and event operations
Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required
Experience with capital/facilities renovation projects preferred
Proven ability to grow member engagement across all club activities
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Total Compensation will be based on Experience.
