GOLF
The Fort Collins Country Club‘s 18-hole golf course is a hidden gem, featuring majestic tree-lined fairways and tremendous views of the Rocky Mountains and nearby lakes. We host several tournaments, social events, and fun throughout the year for Men, Ladies, Couples, and Juniors. Members also enjoy access to two indoor simulators year-round.
CLUB RACQUETS
Tennis and Pickleball are year-round with 3 indoor courts, 2 outdoor hard courts, 3 outdoor Cali Clay courts, and an outdoor Pickleball court. We are the second largest league in Northern Colorado, with a team of eight professional staff members to cater to all ages and skill levels.
FITNESS & MORE
The FCCC Wellness Team offers a wide range of over 80 group classes monthly, such as Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, Indoor Cycling, Barre, and Boxing. Amenities also include a fully equipped fitness room and an in-house massage therapist.
RENOVATION PROJECT
Fort Collins Country Club is undergoing an exciting transformation with a $3.2 million renovation of our Golf Shop, Locker Rooms, and Café. Construction began in September 2025, with completion anticipated in May 2026.
This project represents a major investment in enhancing the member and guest experience, featuring modernized facilities, elevated design, and upgraded amenities across our sports and hospitality spaces.

Title: Head Golf Professional
Reports to: General Manager and will collaborate with department heads to support the overall goals of the Club.
Supervises: Assistant Professionals/Golf Operations Manager, Director of Player Development, Golf Service Staff
Position Description: The Head Golf Professional oversees all facets of the Club’s golf operation—including instruction, tournaments, programming, retail, and staff leadership—with a focus on delivering an exceptional member experience. This highly visible, hands-on role requires a passionate teacher, engaging leader, and creative merchandiser who thrives in a member-facing environment.
The ideal candidate not only manages operations effectively, but also connects personally with members through teaching, playing, and presence. They will mentor a high-performing team, foster professional growth, and ensure that Fort Collins Country Club remains a standard-bearer for excellence, hospitality, and professionalism.
Member Experience and Engagement
Maintain a strong, visible presence throughout the Club — on the golf course, practice areas, and clubhouse.
Actively play with members of all skill levels, fostering relationships and enthusiasm for the game of golf.
Create a warm, inclusive, and service-driven golf culture that promotes participation across all demographics.
Deliver clear, engaging golf communications across Club platforms, including newsletters, emails, and digital boards.
Serve as an ambassador for Fort Collins Country Club in the community and the PGA Section.
Instruction and Player Development
Lead by example as a skilled and passionate teacher.
Develop comprehensive instructional programs and clinics for adults, juniors, and families.
Promote year-round player development, including women’s and junior initiatives.
Build an environment that encourages learning, enjoyment, and continuous improvement.
Stay current with teaching technology and trends to enhance member instruction.
Programming and Tournaments
Design and manage a diverse annual golf calendar balancing competitive and social play.
Deliver exceptional event experiences that are organized, fun, and inclusive.
Oversee league play, member-guest events, and Club championships with professionalism and attention to detail.
Enforce Club policies and ensure fair, equitable access to the golf course and practice facilities.
Retail and Merchandising
Oversee all aspects of Golf Shop operations, including buying, merchandising, and inventory control.
Curate a merchandise mix that reflects member preferences and enhances the Club brand.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure a premium retail experience.
Implement creative sales strategies that increase profitability and member satisfaction.
Leadership and Staff Development
Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing golf staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Conduct regular staff evaluations focused on growth and succession planning.
Model integrity, hospitality, and teamwork in every interaction.
Financial and Administrative Management
Prepare and manage annual budgets for golf operations and retail.
Maintain fiscal responsibility through accurate forecasting, payroll oversight, and expense management.
Ensure accurate use of POS systems and reporting tools.
Collaborate with Club leadership to align financial performance with strategic goals.
Governance and Committee Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Golf Committee and General Manager.
Provide input on Club policies, capital projects, and golf course improvement initiatives.
Communicate decisions and follow-through effectively and consistently.
Including, but not limited to, the following:
PGA Class A Member in good standing
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in private club or high-end golf operations
Proven expertise in instruction, merchandising, and tournament management
Demonstrated success in staff development and mentorship
Strong business acumen and retail management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High playing proficiency and passion for the game

The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Compensation Package:
Total Compensation Range: $110,000-$140,000
Base: $100,000-$120,000
Commission: $5,000-$12,000
