POSITION OVERVIEW
Title: Head Golf Professional
Reports to: PGA General Manager
Supervises: Assistant Professional, Member Services Manager, Outside Services Team, P/T Merchandiser
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Including but not limited to:
A golf professional who provides a premier member golf experience.

A service-minded leader who is naturally focused on the details as well as a continuous evolution to enhance and personalize service delivery to members and their guests, and who can instill those same virtues in his/her team.

An outstanding communicator: current and innovative in engaging all member constituencies to participate and further enjoy the game and the entirety of the club experience.
Comfortable working in a highly collaborative manner with the General Manager and other Department Heads and providing thoughtful input and leadership to committees and the Board.
Management Golf Operations:
Responsible for all day-to-day golf operations at our facilities to ensure a high level of member satisfaction
Responsible for all fiscal areas and performance of the golf operations
Oversee and lead an enthusiastic team
Maintain a constant dialogue and strong working relationship with PGA General Manager
Coordinate written correspondence to members regarding the golf operations and events
Member Services:
Develop and manage an innovative tournament schedule and golf activities program that services all customer segments
Develop and oversee high-quality golf instruction and golfer development programs
Attractively display merchandise and maintain proper controls over golf-related inventories
Ensure timeliness of member orders
Oversee and enforce retail operations, procedures, and controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory
Outgoing personality with a focus on customer service and building lasting relationships
Ability to recruit, hire, train, and manage the golf staff
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Including, but not limited to, the following:
Class A PGA Professional preferred.
Previous Head Professional experience is preferred. Lead Assistants with a strong background will also be considered.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The club will provide compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Base Salary of $60,000-$70,000 based on experience
90% of all lessons and clinics
Retail Bonus (Quarterly and EOY)
EOY Performance Bonus
Successful Operation 36 program already in place
Insurance Coverage after 60 days (medical, dental, vision)
401k w/ 3% match after 1 year
PGA Dues Paid
Tournament Allowance
Clothing Allowance
Staff Deal
Cell Phone Monthly Stipend
Two Days Off Most Weeks
