Title: Food and Beverage Manager
Reports to: General Manager & Clubhouse Manager
Supervises: Food and Beverage Team
Position Description: The Food and Beverage Manager oversees the daily operations of the clubhouse lounge dining, including food and beverage services, member engagement, and overall hospitality. This role ensures that members and guests receive an exceptional experience while maintaining efficient operations within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong food and beverage management background, staff supervision, and customer service in a high-end hospitality setting. This position will act as MOD of all F&B operations when the clubhouse manager is not on duty.
Food & Beverage Service and Operations:
Oversee clubhouse dining services, including dining rooms, casual outlets, bars, banquet services, outdoor F&B Operations, and catering.
Ensure excellent service standards, high-quality food and beverage offerings, and an exceptional member and guest experience.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all food and beverage operations.
Develop and implement operational policies to improve service efficiency and quality.
Work closely with the Lead Chef and culinary team to ensure menu innovation and consistency.
Address and resolve member and guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Beverage Management:
Oversee the beverage program, including ordering, inventory control, and pricing.
Ensure proper storage and handling of beverages, including wines, liquors, and craft beverages.
Develop seasonal beverage menus, including specialty cocktails and wine lists.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor laws and regulations.
Train and educate staff on beverage knowledge, service, and responsible alcohol service.
Staff Management & Training:
Recruit, train, and manage clubhouse service staff, including dining, bar, and banquet personnel.
Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism among staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training programs.
Manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage while optimizing labor costs.
Financial & Budget Management:
Monitor financial performance, track revenue, and identify areas for improvement.
Work with Controller to maintain accurate financial reporting and inventory control.
Member & Event Engagement:
Work closely with the Events & Banquets team to ensure successful execution of private and club sponsored events.
Develop and implement special promotions, themed dining nights, and seasonal events.
Maintain a strong presence in the clubhouse, engaging with members and fostering positive relationships.
Facility & Inventory Management:
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all clubhouse facilities.
Ensure proper upkeep of dining furniture, equipment, and bar areas.
Including, but not limited to, the following:
CMAA Membership is preferred but not required.
Previous food and beverage experience in a high-end restaurant or country club is preferred.
Strong leadership skills.
The club will provide compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Salary of $60,000 (potential for higher salary based on experience) – paid biweekly.
Quarterly and End-of-Year Bonus based on goals and expectations set by the General Manager.
(Estimate of $6,000 - $15,000)
CMAA National and Georgia Chapter Dues are paid annually.
CMAA Continuing Education and National Conference per budget and General Manager approval.
Clothing allowance of $500 per year for club logoed apparel for special orders.
Cell phone stipend of $50 per month.
Enrollment in CCC’s voluntary benefits package after a 60-day waiting period.
Company-paid Life/AD&D Insurance ($25k) and Long-Term Disability.
120 Hours of Universal Leave annually.
Participation in clubs 401k plan with up to a 3% match after one year of employment
