My name is Meaghan Regier. I am entering into my 18th year of teaching, and 13th year at Connally High School. I was born and raised in Austin, growing up in east Austin, and attend LBJ High School. I graduated with a Bachelors and Masters in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin. I am the math department chair for CHS and have taught Alg.1, Geometry, Alg.2, Pre-Calculus, Advanced Quantitative Reasoning, and Calculus over my career. I taught Intermediate Algebra at ACC for a few years in the evenings before realizing my heart belonged in the High School classroom. I have a passion for teaching, but my favorite part of my job is getting to know my students and helping them make the best possible decisions for themselves while I know them.

I have a husband, and two little boys, 6 years old and 1.5 years old at home who keep me busy most of my non-working hours. I love to read fantasy book series, watch movies and play all kinds of games (board, computer, console). I love classic rock and jazz and singing when nobody can hear me (better for us all, haha) though recently I have only been allowed to listen to Disney music :0
