UIL offers a wide variety of academic contests for high school students. These contests build upon the academic skills developed in the classroom and offer students an opportunity to stretch their talents.

Competing in a UIL academic event gets you one step closer to being qualified for a TILF scholarship for college! From 1959 to 2018, TILF has awarded over 20,000 scholarships valued at over $32 million. Amounts of scholarships range from $500 for one year to $20,000 over four years. Applications may be submitted from March 1 through May 10, 2019 and can be found online at www.tilfoundation.org.
