Division 1 (Grades K-1) - March 29, 2025

Location - Delco Center - Address: 4601 Pecan Brook Dr, Austin, TX 78724

• Cost - The cost per student to attend the tournament is $49.00 until February 24th.  After February 24th, the cost is $62.00. PfISD is not covering this cost.

• Game Monitor (Volunteering) Info - There is a requirement of number of adults that have to volunteer to number of students that register at the tournament, so if your child attends the tournament you will be encouraged to volunteer. You can just choose a game you'd like to monitor (ask your child for recommendations!). 

• Timing Information - Check-in is from 7:30am-8:00am. Students will then play each game. There is usually a lunch break between their 3rd or 4th game. The break is usually very short so we recommend utilizing the concessions at the event. Students are encouraged to stay to the end of the awards ceremony, which is usually over by early/mid-afternoon. 

• Can't Volunteer? - If volunteering is an issue for your family, you can simply let Miss Hurst know (you will still have to choose a game to monitor and then I'll go in and manually remove you from the volunteer list). 

Students are welcome to participate in Math Pentathlon Club on Mondays even if they choose not to participate in the tournament. 

• The tournament is optional. 

• Club meetings on Mondays are free. 

**Please note that Division 1 (Grades K-1) will be first-come first-served based on the number of parent volunteers we have. This division runs much smoother with more help, so we are needing one parent per every two students.
