Weiss ELA II Courses

Mrs. E. Waldrop

Welcome to the wonderful, whimsical, and witty world of of Waldrop's English language arts classes!

Where's Waldrop?

Hi! I am Mrs. Elizabeth Waldrop and I have the honor of teaching English II and AP Seminar at Weiss High School this year. I am originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em Horns!), and earned my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University. I have taught for 21 years and am ridiculously excited to be teaching Sophomore English this year. My personal teaching philosophy is that all people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, rigorously challenged so they are prepared to meet the high expectations of life that come during and after high school, and that literacy is both a right and a responsibility. Moving forward this year, I invite all stakeholders: parents, students, administration, and teachers, to join me as we lay the foundation for success for our community. “For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.” ~ Rudyard Kipling
