GOAL: Technology should bridge classroom learning to students' everyday lives and prepare them for real-world application.
PRIMARY FOCUS: Future-readiness and critical digital citizenship.Â
TEACHER ROLE: Modeling professional AI use and information ethics.
Personalized PBL (Project-Based Learning): The teacher collects student interests (e.g., skateboarding, baking, coding). Using AI, the teacher generates 5 "Project Paths" for each interest that meet the curriculum standards. Students choose their own path for their final project.
AI Literacy as a Life Skill: The teacher projects a "hallucinated" AI response (like the US map errors we discussed earlier). The teacher leads a discussion on "Why can't we trust the robot?" to teach critical digital skepticism.
Authentic Skill-Building: The teacher uses AI to help the class generate three "Script Outlines" for a school podcast. The students then take the outlines and do the actual writing and recording, using the AI as a structural "producer."
