Prince Edward Rescue is excited to announce a NREMT course in Farmville, Virginia!
This course will prepare students to successfully pass the National Registry of EMTs exam to become an Emergency Medical Technician.

16 years of age by the beginning of the course. No exceptions.
Read and write the English language.
Acceptable criminal record. Background check required.
Healthcare Provider CPR per OEMS regulations. PEVRS offers CPR classes by the American Heart Association free for volunteer members, or at a cost of $35 for non-members. CPR is not included in the class price. Please apply for the CPR class HERE if needed.
Tuition: $750, paid in full by 09/12/23. Tuition includes:

The initial final exam attempt is paid for by the Commonwealth of Virginia

VAVRS EVOC (Classes I and II)
Self-study, discussion boards, and exams will be held online and should be completed outside of classroom time (reliable internet and computer or tablet required).
Lecture, skills, and scenarios will be held in person.
Students must attend a minimum of 85% of all lecture time, per Regulation 12 VAC5-31-1501
Students must attend 100% of Practical Skills Days, as outlined in the course schedule.
The final examination will be the NREMT written test, proctored online by Pearson OnVue. In addition to a practical evaluation that will be performed at PEVRS. Competencies are validated throughout the course with critical thinking scenarios and skills labs.

Class begins: Tuesday, 09/05/23.
Final test: Tuesday, 03/12/24
Class dates: Every Tuesday night (4 hours). Occasional Saturdays (6-8 hours).

You will receive an email within 48 hours about how to pay for the course and information on the FEMA courses.
Submit non-refundable tuition deposit of $100 to ensure seat in program.
Complete payment due by 2nd night of class.
